Stellium?

I need a bit of help in defining a stellium.

In reading the definitions in different places this is what i found.

One of them refered to a stellium as three or more planets in conjuction with the same sign and/or houses. In another i read that it is four or more planets. Is it three or four? Is it a conjunction?

Also, in viewing several readings on other people via the internet, the north node was included in their stellium. (Or so it seemed)
I read from another source that the north node is not a real planet.(by definition)

Here's the underlying question:

Suppose there are two planets in conjunction with one another(same sign), and there are no others close enough to be in conjuction, except for the north node. Would this still be considered stellium?

Thanks,

Stephanie

Something to have fun with…..

Juan Revila is a colleague of mine that has designed, as a labor of love, a program he calls Riyal. It will calculate, not only your basic chart....but also Chiron, Centaurs, Trans-Neptunian bodies, and even some asteroids. It is designed for the serious researcher, of course...someone who truly wants to study the multitude of bodies that have turned up in the past thirty years. But it is also great for the regular astrologer (you can turn off all the extra bodies if you want), who can use it to calculate all types of charts, as well as phenomena (such as generating a list of all the Venus/Mars conjunctions for the next 20 years.)

It's totally free, so you can download it and just play with it when you are bored, if you want.

Here is the basic display of bodies done for shortly before I began this post. If you want to know what any of these are, feel free to ask. Okyrhoe, for example, is a Centaur, and so is BU48 (which has not been given an official name yet.) Huya, on the other hand, is one of the bodies found out past Pluto. And look, UB313...that's Xena.

I am also uploading another chart that Riyal is capable of creating, a picture of the night sky (Constellations.jpg)

There is a link for this software on the Astrology Tribe FAQs. Have fun!

THE SATURN RETURN and other difficulties

Every 29 years Saturn makes one orbit around the Sun and marks a rite of passage for us Earthlings that astrologers call (old soap opera music, please)...the Saturn Return. My understanding of what Saturn represents is our "innate responsibility", as opposed to the externally conditioned responsibilities defined for us as children by our parents, teachers and society at large.

BAD NEWS FIRST. The sobering truth about Saturn is that its natal placement points to an area of genuine defeciency. It's as if the Creator ran out of parts after He/She/It started and where you must not only manufacture the parts but also finish the work by the force of your own commitment and personal efforts. Saturn teaches us "what you get out of something depends on what you put into it." If you don't put in the work, the deficiency will breed feelings of inadequacy, insecurity, fear and failure.

GOOD NEWS. If you work hard to structure the experience here you will gradually gain the power and ability to manifest your intentions, not just in that house but across the board. Saturn is the Lord of Karma. It represents our ambitions and standards. When these standards are achieved, it yields success on your terms and breeds feelings of dignity, mastery and a sense of accomplishment.

Each SATURN RETURN differs by the lessons inherent to each sign and house and how that Saturn is aspected. The SATURN RETURN is a reality check point. A time of "truth and consequences", you will discover how much commitment you have shown or have neglected to show by the results of either. Natal Saturn represents an area where you must invest effort to transform your fears into commitments. Or remain taunted by feelings of inadequacy and a life lived in fear. Yes, it can actually be that black or white with Saturn.

EXAMPLE. My 11th House Saturn in Libra symbolized a longterm fear of crowds, groups and people in general until my Saturn Return found me totally alone and without friends. My lesson ? I had to make an effort to build and maintain my friendships if I was to have any friends. My fear of groups has been since transformed into an ongoing commitment to group dynamics in various fields.
