I feel like a Stereotype. My group of friends is from my first job. My longest boyfriend, I met at that job. My room mate, and 2 of my most recent boyfriends I met at work. My last boyfriend I didn't meet at work, but he ended up working at my old job later. I recently hooked up with someone from work and made a new really good at my new job. Until I really thought about it I just thought it was because people spend so much time together at work... but then I realized maybe that 10th house Cap moon had something to do with it.

I came across something somewhat of a shock that I've heard of before but never really paid much attention to..
This thing about "Precession" of the earth through the constellations. I've only paid attention to Western Astrology before and now I can see why there is such debate between skeptics and believers in its correctness...
According to this 'fact', the whole zodiac nowadays is actually one month ahead, indicating (for example) that if you're born between the 16th of February till mid-March you're the 'real' aquarians, and 'those-who-thought-they-were-aquarians' born before then are really capricorns according to the current (in the last few hundred years I'm taking) position of the stars. And this goes for the entire zodiac.
So I've come to a fork in the road. Going left I have the idea that people that believe this has a 'revolutionaristic' effect on their consciousness, that they're not really what they had been told they were and this explains why, at the same time these believers are the ones that never really extended their astrological knowledge past sun-signs indicating they never knew the other major elements of their chart OR
Going right, I have the notion that astrology really has no specific link to the position of the stars nowadays but rather stems from the consciousness of thought that at particular times of the year, in a cyclic motion, certain characteristics are more pronounced in some than in others...
The reason I feel so stuck is in doing charts for many and studying my own in depth for quite some time, the aspects, asteroids, house placements etc have so much relevance (in tropical/western astrology) that that is why I first started delving into the art/science of astrology itself.
This sidereal astrology just doesn't seem right.
I know I must be a bit behind the mark and this topic would have been brought up before but only now has it been brought to my attention.
Can friends out there please help by expressing opinions and beliefs relating to this??? What you know or what you think?
Thanks guys : )
