Three Awesome XMas Gifts For Beatles Fans
The Beatles Remastered Stereo Box Set
Every album The Beatles released from 1962 through ’70 in remastered stereo! These 16 CDs sound awesome and yes they are a significant improvement over the old 1980s CDs. They are absolutely worth the purchase. Any Beatles fan would love to get this box set as a present.
Ringo’s drums & Paul’s bass in particular sound much better on these new CDs. While these elements (and many others) were often “buried in the mix” on the old CDs now everything can be heard clearly.
Besides the awesome sound, there’s also the awesome packaging and the fact that it comes with a documentary DVD that is not available for individual purchase.
The Beatles Remastered Mono Box Set
The original mono mixes of The Beatles first 10 albums are finally on CD with this mono CD box set. This is a great gift for the really serious Beatles fan because it’s the Beatles albums as they were originally intended to be heard by the band and their producer George Martin.
Many fans will be curious to hear these original mixes because in some cases they are a lot different from the stereo mixes. For example “Helter Skelter” is about one minute shorter in mono.
This is a great present for any Beatles fan who is also into video games. But I would say that you don’t have to be a gamer to love playing this game. It’s really great for any fan of the band. I think even those who think that they don’t enjoy video games will find that they love playing this game. It’s seriously fun.
The the most fun part of the game for myself is the singing. It’s really a barrel of monkeys to sing these Beatles songs and what’s really great about it is you can even sing the harmonies. This is a great way to learn how to sing harmonies better.
It’s also a really fun party game because three people can sing at once and for the singing part of the game you don’t need any of the expensive Rock Band instruments you just need three microphoens (and these mics are very cheap.)
