Every month, the Moon goes Void of Course around 13 times. This is the period after the Moon makes the last aspect it will make while in its current sign, but before it leaves the sigh to move into the next one. This period can last only minutes, or hours, or in rare occasions, over 2 days. To quote the original Void of Course pioneer, Al H Morrison:

“You may call it a silly season, or vacation from normal living.

“Decision making in such periods turns out later to be unrealistic. Creativity diverges into unpleasant directions, improvisations, false starts, error. Business moves fail to generate profits, or meet unexpected difficulties. If you buy any object it usually fails of its intended use.

“Human judgment is more fallible than usual during the time the Moon is Void of Course. This is the principle factor in all observed experience thus far.

“Routine proceeds readily, but often requires an adjustment later. Defects or shortages come to light. Delay and frustration are commonly experienced while the Moon is Void of Course.

“Neurotic tendencies, bad habits are more open to change. ESP experiments show odd results.

“Historic events during such periods have a wild, Pandora’s Box impact on cultural evolution. The first two dozen successful spaceshots were all launched with the Moon Void of Course, to open an all-new age in which old concepts and ideas are corrected or disproven.

“In every presidential election from 1900 through 1972 one of the two major party candidates was nominated with the Moon Void of Course. Every one of the candidates nominated with the Moon Void of Course lost.

“Jimmy Carter’s 1980 nomination came in a Void of Course Moon.” (And Debbi Kempton-Smith added: “John Kerry’s 2004 nomination and Al Gore’s 2000 nomination came in a Void of Course Moon.”

Debbi also mentions that “We become more fallible during a void of course moon.”

My personal experience is that it is a wonderful time, IF you do things without preconceived expectations. However it turns out is not important to you. Do something knowing full well that the end result may be totally unpredictable, and you will be making the best use of the Void of Course cycle. “Expect the unexpected”.

This happens, as I mentioned, several times a month, so in of itself it is not a major event. But keep this in the back of your mind a moment while I go on to the second part of this post.

PART 2 – URANUS STATION

Uranus goes Stationary Direct at 3:39 AM EST (12:39 AM PST) on November 24. The exact position will be 14 Pisces 46.

A station is when the principles of a particular planet are most strongly concentrated on earth. Uranus is known for stimulating the unconventional in people, as well as for breaking with the past, experimenting, trying the new and different. It usually brings tension, excitement, chaos — and surprises.

PART 3 – COMBINATION OF THE TWO

So it should be quite interesting, this Uranus Station, occurring as it is during the Moon Void of Course. If the Moon Void of Course period is a time when one should expect the unexpected, and Uranus stationary emphasizes the unexpected…..

I suspect that, on many different levels, we are about to venture into uncharted waters in a few days.
