I’m curious if there are any writings that focus on the meanings of each separate degree. I know about the Sabian symbols and dwads. What I’m wondering is, are there any theories that look at the meaning of each degree without consideration of the sign it’s in? Sort of like in the Tarot, where aces represent an initial impulse, regardless of the suit. That basic meaning is then applied to the suit (or in astrology, the sign).
