IC MC… mortgage/financial crisis…

I will never share Your email address with anyone under any circumstances.

Sleeping at the office or calling in sick… staying at home so much you cant pay the mortgage and having a profession that allows for a beautiful home without allowing you to be there…

With the current state of the so called financial “crisis” theses to pieces of our natal “puzzle” seem like important points to explore. Homes are being foreclosed upon, business is begging for government help, mortgage brokers are still raking in cash, and more people are filing for unemployment. The tension between the collective IC & MC is so thick it can and probably should be cut with a knife.

So let us see if we can learn a few lessons as we participate in these overwhelming events. Let us look to our own IC MC pole and see if we can find a way to balance ourselves and possibly help others do the same.

The polarity that unites the Home and the Career can be a hard one to balance. As representations of our personal Zenith and Nadir these two angles in the natal chart act as metaphors for our Highs and our Lows. The home links us to our ancestry, and our status outside the home connects us to some kind of professional authority (which can be imposed upon us and/or achieved for ourselves). As we attempt to equalize these parts of our lives we may need to reunite with our feelings of total privacy while remaining ambitious enough to warrant some recognition for our worldly efforts.

Like all polarities one side cannot fully reach its potential without the other. Take homelessness for example, most of the people I know who are homeless are unemployed and a few friends I know who recently lost their jobs are realistically facing homelessness.

Ask yourself:

Are you deeply satisfied with the way the public perceives you?

Is your reputation supported by the way in which you feel most at home?

As I explore these points in my own chart I begin to regret the fact that I am very unsatisfied. I feel a hatred for my familial past and a total lack of professional achievement. This leads me into both a state of heavy bio/enviro-pathology and a feeling of being totally goalless (or at least unable to attain the goals I set). I cant seem to obtain the capital needed to establish myself in my desired profession which means I have to live in a dumpy studio apartment with my girlfriend.

I have:

Scorpio Vesta MC- providing the hearth as a profession… status requires purity and devotion (virginity)… spiritual illumination and warmth… lifes goals and the need for recognition…

Libra MC- people see a tactful diplomat in me… artistic and gracious…

Taurus Chiron IC-

Aries IC- I rule the home… family making me mad and aggressive…
