Social Butterfly

So I have Gemini Sun in 11th, Leo Rising and an aries moon.

Ever since Saturn rummaged through my 12th house and is currently going through my first house, I've been emerging as an overtly serious person (well, even as a kid, I had a serious set-mind demeanor. just more so now). I like the work I've done so far. I've eradicated most people around me who simply aren't helpful in my progress and all other leeches.

But now I feel like I have no friends left. What's more, I make little effort in making new friends. In my mind, I know exactly what I want. My best and closest friends are all far away from me. While I enjoy the company of other people, I don't go out of my way to see them regularly. It feels like a freakin massive effort. All my other friends I don't see much now because I really don't wanna go to the bars or drink much, and that's where they are. I love bookish conversations but the bookish people are surprisingly boring, unable to think about the deeper implications of the books (or maybe I just like to complicate matters). Once I realise that there is little depth in what they are saying, I lose interest. Picky and proud, huh? Of course, when it comes to astrology, I'm as shallow as shallow can get.

I make no effort to network with other musicians because I have no interest in them beyond playing, and as a result, I lose gigs. Some part of me is not willing to compromise in making that superficial link to get what I want.

Okay, enough whining. What transits am I going through that may point to this unwillingness to befriend people? Is there a chance of me being the social butterfly that flutters by once more?

Jupiter going through my 5th?
