Saturn and Jupiter are in a very important trinal aspect with each other currently. This association brings together our determined efforts and motivations (Saturn) and our optimistic and hopeful aspirations for the future (Jupiter). This is especially good for Saturn, as Jupiter casts his blessings through these trinal aspects. In the Vedic astrological texts preference is given to the special planetary aspects of Mars, Saturn and Jupiter. It is said that Jupiter affects positively 100% strength (with 4 feet) when he’s in a trinal aspects to another planet. Mars and Saturn aspects are considered to be more challenging, yet these challenges stimulate growth in us.

Any time Saturn and Jupiter get in this type of trinal relationship an enormous amount of ease and wisdom is brought to the difficult areas of Saturn in our life. Stereotypically Saturn is related to our fears and the protective strategies we use to control our self and our emotions. These fearful, emotional strategies undermine our long-term plans if we allow ourselves to be controlled by them.
