Every desire, even the desire for liberation, is actually a personal desire — something related to the world and our self as an individual. When someone says they desire liberation, often what they really mean is they want liberation from their suffering so that they can fulfill their highest worldly desires. This not to say that desires are “bad”, just limited - that is why 2 of the houses are cruel. (the 3rd and 11th)

Liberation is not something that we can achieve, so to speak. It is something we must relax into — it is our true self. We don’t create it - we discover it when we willingly let go of our ego. That’s why the moksha houses are feminine. We relax into liberation when we let go of our desire. This is why the moksha houses come after kama houses. Moksha is the release point of Desire. Think about sex. This high desire expresses itself, then we go to sleep -
